My grandfather used to tell me, ‘Your land and your country are your most important treasures. They run into your veins and make the heart beats. Everyone should know these wonders and discover the genuine delicacies of this part of Puglia. Every time he whispered to me those words, we were walking into the vineyard or in the olive grove, surrounded by the strong smell of grapes and the taste of olives. We used to look at Castel del Monte on the one hand and the sea on the other. The wind caressed my skin. I could feel Puglia through all the senses. Today I return to the simplicity of this Earth and with a glass of wine I enjoy this beauty.

About us

We are four professionals from Puglia, each with different skills (licensed local guide and tour leader, expert in digital and territorial marketing, IT expert and trade representative), who have been working in tourism for several years, but with a common dream: to discover the genuine and authentic Puglia as well as less known places all the year long.

Together we have created Puglia Taste & Culture, the first company of tourist services for incoming tourism in the province of Barletta, Andria, Trani (Bat), specialized in sensorial experiential tourism based on enogastronomy, traditions, art and craft and culture.

Our goal is to rediscover the simplicity and authenticity of the less well-known places of the Region through experiential paths created in collaboration with professionals from various sectors, ‘by playing with the five senses’.

Awarded idea, winner PIN, initiative promoted by the Youth Policies of the Puglia Region and ARTI and financed with resources from the FSE – PO Puglia 2014/2020 Action 8.4 and the Development and Cohesion Fund.

What we offer

We organize experiential activities that allow tourists to live like locals and with locals. We literally want to “get their hands in the dough” to rediscover the daily simplicity of Puglia through products and traditions that can still be found today.

We are your point of reference on the territory of Puglia, especially in the northern area of Bari, for the following services:

  • experiences related to the 5 senses: from guided tours to the workshops in food and wine, crafts, traditions and culture;
  • Research of transfer, accommodation facilities, farms, artisans and local businesses.

With us of Puglia Taste & Culture you choose to collaborate with experts and encourage local producers to develop sustainable and quality tourism.
