The data controller, pursuant to Article 24 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), is PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE SOC. COOPERATIVA A R.L. (hereinafter “PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE” or the “Controller”), with registered office at Via Giuseppe Di Vittorio, 21 – 76125 – Trani (BT), Italy.

2. Data Subjects and Data Sources
This Privacy Policy is addressed to users (hereinafter, the “Data Subjects”) who use the services available on the website www.pugliatasteandculture.com (hereinafter, the “Website”).
Personal data are provided:
directly by the Data Subject, by filling in forms or using the services available on the Website;
by third-party companies (Facebook, Instagram), when the Data Subject accesses the Website through such platforms.
3. Purposes of Processing
The personal data of Data Subjects may be processed for the following purposes:
a) management of Website registration;
b) provision of the search engine service for information on tickets and offers from museums, cultural institutions, theatres and tour operators (hereinafter, the “Suppliers”);
c) sale of tickets or vouchers issued by Suppliers for access to venues, exhibitions and leisure/travel services;
d) sale of tickets for leisure/travel services offered directly by PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE, including travel packages and additional services;
e) publication of and access to reviews written by Data Subjects in relation to services, attractions and travel offered on the Website;
f) service communications with Suppliers in relation to Supplier Services;
g) statistical purposes based on anonymised data;
h) sending promotional communications regarding discounts, offers, events or services similar to those previously purchased;
i) sending promotional communications regarding discounts, offers, events or services different from those previously purchased, subject to explicit consent;
l) profiling activities to assess tastes, preferences and consumption habits, including through market research, subject to explicit consent;
m) sharing data with third-party partners for the sending of commercial and promotional communications, subject to explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
performance of a contract and provision of the requested service: for the purposes referred to in letters a), b), c), d), e), f);
legitimate interest of the Controller: for the purpose referred to in letter h);
explicit consent of the Data Subject: for the purposes referred to in letters i), l), m).
5. Processing Methods
The personal data of Data Subjects are processed using IT, telematic, paper and manual tools, in compliance with the confidentiality and security rules established by applicable law.
In the event of consent to profiling (purpose l), the processing includes automated activities aimed at placing the Data Subject into homogeneous categories, based on the services used, any market research participation, and demographic class.
6. Data Provision
Providing personal data is optional. However:
failure to provide data for purposes a), b), d) may prevent PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE from providing its services to the Data Subject;
failure to provide data for purposes c) and f) may prevent the provision of Supplier Services;
subsequent objection to or withdrawal of consent for the above purposes will result in the immediate suspension of the relevant services;
refusal to provide consent for purposes h), i), l), m) will have no consequences, except for the inability to receive promotional communications, offers and commercial initiatives from PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE and its partners.
7. Disclosure and Sharing of Data
The personal data of Data Subjects will not be disclosed, except for any voluntary publication by the Data Subject within reviews (purpose e).
Data may be processed internally by authorised personnel of the relevant departments (e.g. Sales, Marketing, IT) and disclosed to:
Suppliers: where Supplier Services are purchased, PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE may share with the Supplier only the data strictly necessary for service performance (user name, email address, booking information). The Supplier acts as an independent data controller and will provide its own privacy notice.
Non-EU Suppliers: where the Supplier is located outside the European Union, data transfer will take place solely for the purpose of contract performance.
Third-party processors: consultants, affiliated companies and EU-based suppliers carrying out functions necessary for service delivery (order processing, ticket delivery, communications, payment management, customer support). These parties act as data processors appointed by PUGLIA TASTE & CULTURE, have access only to the data necessary for their tasks and may not use them for other purposes.

8. Data Retention
Personal data are stored on servers located within the European Union for the following periods:
a), b) – Website registration and search engine: for the entire duration of registration, or until deletion is requested by the user;
c), d), f) – Purchase of services and communications with Suppliers: for the duration of the service and thereafter for the statutory limitation period;
e) – Reviews: until consent to publication is withdrawn or deletion of the data is requested;
h), i), l), m) – Marketing, profiling, partner communications: until consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested, except where retention is exceptionally necessary for legal defence or upon instruction from public authorities.
9. Data Subject Rights
At any time, the Data Subject has the right to:
Object (Art. 21 GDPR): obtain the cessation of processing where their data are processed for direct marketing purposes, including in relation to services identical to those already provided.
Access (Art. 15 GDPR): obtain information regarding the purposes of processing, the retention period and the recipients to whom the data are disclosed.
Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): obtain the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): obtain the deletion of their personal data in the following cases: (i) the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected; (ii) consent has been withdrawn; (iii) the Data Subject has objected to processing based on the Controller’s legitimate interest; (iv) the processing is unlawful.
Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): obtain that the data be stored only, without further use, in the cases provided by law (e.g. dispute over data accuracy, unlawful processing, need for legal defence).
Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where such data are processed by contract or on the basis of consent.
